Comments: Mexicana Strain-X was isolated by Sporeworks from a wild specimen collected near the city of Xico, Mexico. In contrast to the sclerotia producing A-strain, Strain-X is predominantly a fruiting variety, producing prodigious fruitbodies easily and prolifically in habitat.
