Comments: The Rusty Whyte is a variety of Psilocybe cubensis developed by shroomery user Pastywhyte in 2014 by crossing Ps. cubensis Albino A+ with Columbian Rust Spore. The result is a variety that exhibits both the pale coloration of the Albino A+ and the red spores of the Columbian Rust Spore. Habitat: Bovine, Equine Dung and Enriched Soils Climate: Subtropical Cap: Very pale cream, especially in the center, to white often with bluish tones, sometimes with a sharp central nipple. Universal veil remnant spots are present but inconspicuous against the pale cap. Stem: Similar in coloration to the cap, bluing intensely with damage. Partial veil leaves a persistent membranous annulus. Gills: Attachment adnate to adnexed. Almost white in young fruit bodies becoming golden yellow in maturity.
Spores: Clay brown to reddish brown in deposit. * Spores intended for microscopy and taxonomy purposes only.
