Comments: Originally collected in Plant City, Florida by mycologist Blackd0voe. Purple Mystic can often be found with purple spore deposits on mature caps, giving it a mysterious, regal appearance. One of the older legacy strains, this variety has excited and delighted researchers for decades.

Gills: Attachment adnate to adnexed. Grayish coloration in young fruit bodies becoming nearly black in maturity.
