Comments: Dimple is a vigorous and prolific variety named for its tendency to lack or lose its umbo at maturity, often developing a dimple in the center of the cap. Though its origin is obscure, we know this unique progeny of B+ was developed some time in the early 2000s. Habitat: Bovine, Equine Dung and Enriched Soils Strain Origin: Unknown Cap: Pale brown to yellowish brown, cylindrical to conical with indentation present in some specimens. Stem: Yellowish, mostly solid, bluing with damage. Membranous partial veil disappearing with maturity. Gills: Attachment adnate to adnexed.
