Cap: Pins are yellow/brown and lighten to a grayish tan as they mature. Caps remain bell shape until very mature. Gills: Adnexed with 3 to 4 tiers of intermediate gills. Spores: Black in deposit. 4-spored basidium. Origin: Westmoreland, Jamaica Comments: Originally collected by our team in the early 2000s in a sugar cane field near Little London, Jamaica. There are several similar species of Copelandia, most differing from each other only microscopically.
