Origin: Northern Georgia, USA
A newly described species. Psilocybe weilii was first reported in Cherokee County, Georgia in 1995.
P. weilii is described as growing in red-clay soils covered with a thin layer of loblolly pine needles underneath sweetgum trees. It has also been reported growing in association with Bermuda grass lawns.
All material offered at this time is collected from the wild in northern Georgia.
